Anal GL is a gentle homeopathic remedy formulated to assist dogs and cats showing signs commonly associated with blocked, impacted, inflamed, or infected anal glands. Designed to support natural anal gland health and comfort, this blend can be added to food, water, or administered directly, making it easy to integrate into your pet's daily routine.
Anal GL offers a practical option for owners seeking natural support for recurring anal gland issues, scooting, irritation, unpleasant odour, and discomfort. Information
Natural support for dogs and cats with anal gland issues
Is your dog scooting across the floor, excessively licking their rear end, struggling with recurring anal gland problems, or producing an unpleasant odour? Anal GL is a gentle homeopathic remedy designed to provide natural support for dogs and cats experiencing signs commonly associated with blocked, impacted, inflamed, or infected anal glands.
Anal gland issues can be uncomfortable and frustrating for both pets and owners. When the anal glands fail to empty normally, irritation, swelling, odour, and discomfort can develop. Anal GL provides a natural, gentle option for supporting anal gland health and overall wellbeing.
Anal gland issues are often associated with digestive and liver function. When the body's natural detoxification and elimination processes become compromised, some pets may experience recurring anal gland concerns. For additional support, Anal GL can be paired with either Liver Tonic (Hom) or LiverVitality Canine as part of a more holistic approach to supporting liver health, detoxification, and overall wellbeing.
Using Anal GL alongside Liver Tonic (Hom) or LiverVitality Canine provides a more complete approach to supporting your pet's comfort, digestive health, natural elimination pathways, and ongoing anal gland health.

Supporting anal gland health naturally
Anal gland issues can occur when the glands fail to empty properly. This may lead to gland impaction, irritation, inflammation, or infection. Dogs are more commonly affected than cats, although anal gland problems can occur in both species.
Providing appropriate nutritional, digestive, and homeopathic support may help maintain overall wellbeing and support normal anal gland function.

About Our Ethanol Base
At Natural Pet, our liquid remedies are preserved using organic-certified ethanol derived from a mild cane or wheat base and carefully prepared at a 10% concentration. This helps maintain product quality, stability, and shelf life while remaining suitable for daily use.
Ethanol and Your Pet's Wellbeing
Each dose contains approximately 0.4 of a drop of ethanol, an amount that is generally well tolerated by both cats and dogs.
If your pet appears sensitive to the taste or smell, you can:
- Add the drops to food or a favourite treat and allow them to stand for 20 minutes before feeding.
- Dilute the drops in a small amount of water and allow the mixture to stand for 20 minutes before administering.
For animals with heightened sensitivity, we recommend starting with diluted dosing and observing your pet's acceptance and comfort.
Our Commitment to Quality
We carefully select ingredients that reflect both purity and purpose. Our organic-certified ethanol is part of that commitment, providing a clean, reliable preservative system that supports product integrity while remaining gentle and practical for everyday use.

★★★★★Great results for PomeranianThese drops have been so helpful for our wee Pom girl, we are onto our 2nd small size bottle now. We add the drops to her evening meal and she doesn't notice at all. Even our vet nurse is impressed with the improvement monthly visits no longer necessary. No more scooting on her backside from discomfort, a much happier dog.
