Individual Use:

For optimal absorption, remedies are best applied to a mucus membrane. In dairy cows, this typically means the nose or vulva. During milking, the vulva offers a convenient access point. A suggested approach is to spray 3–4 times per dose, ideally at three intervals: when the cow enters the shed, when cups are put on, and again at cup removal. This spacing allows for a minimum five-minute interval between applications, supporting consistent uptake and response.

For other farm animals, placing the remedy directly into the mouth or via food or water is generally the most effective method.

Group Use:

For herd-wide support, remedies can be added to the water trough. Adding 1–2 capfuls ensures that each animal receives a dose with every drink, allowing for repeated exposure throughout the day.

• Dispense drops into feed and allow to stand for 20 minutes before offering

  PSSC

  I finally received my order on Saturday, so Sunday was the first day to dose my girl. I do not do SC counts or anything and I hand milk only so I go by sight and feel and truthfully right now, about a month post calving, she is looking good, but I will still use it a few days to see if there is any difference. I have a single Jersey cow who I bred and raised, she is 14 years old and on her 11th lactation. Always been hand milked and sharing with the calf, although we have to start separating at night sooner as she gets older. Never have pushed her for maximum production as my goal is longevity for my family.

  A gift for our daughter

  I bought this for my daughter and her husband to use on the dairy farm they have just taken on. Calving begins in the first week of July but they have had a slip cow who has presented with mastitis so arE currently trailing the pssc, time will tell.
