Heart Tonic

Heart Tonic comes in a liquid form; this is the easiest way to administer it to animals. It can be put straight into the mouth of the animal, making sure not to contaminate the dripper. You can do this by adding the drops to a teaspoon, lifting the lip, and place in the mouth. But we realise this is not always an option. So you can add the drops to their food, which is just as effective.

Dosage: 4 drops 1-2 times daily.

Ethanol and your furry friend's well-being

• Add the drops to food or a treat and let sit for 20 minutes before offering

• Mix with a small amount of water and allow to stand for 20 minutes before dosing

For dogs and cats with heightened sensitivity, we recommend starting with diluted dosing and observing for comfort and acceptance.

  I found he had instant comfort on this remedy but sadly as he suffers gastrointestinal issues anyway the side effects of digitalis aggravated this condition and he appeared to suffer a little toxicity. He was on an antibiotic prior to this remedy and I had the same problem. The antibiotic was Metrogyl. Sadly a lot of modern meds and herbs can be too powerful for a liver and kidney compromised old dog. Great job though Paulette.
