Information

TK Blend │ticks on cows, cow cattle lice

Are ticks or lice affecting your dairy herd’s comfort and productivity? TK Blend is a natural, homeopathic remedy designed to assist dairy cows experiencing tick or lice infestations. Crafted to support the cow’s own immune response, TK Blend offers a gentle option for herd-wide use—ideal for trough feeding or adding to teat spray mixes during peak tick and lice seasons.

Key Benefits of TK Blend

• Easy to administer—spray, trough feed, or add to water
• Non-toxic and suitable for organic production animals (check with your certifier)
• No withholding period—safe for use during milking
• NZ-made with a 5-year shelf life
• Available in 200ml, 500ml, 1L, 2L, and 5L bottles
• Free 100ml spray bottle included with 500ml + sizes for ease of use

Symptoms Addressed

TK Blend supports all dairy cattle showing signs of:
• Visible ticks on cows, especially around ears, neck, and udder
• Cow cattle lice causing restlessness, rubbing, or hair loss
• Seasonal infestations that impact herd comfort and condition

Prevention and Management

Ticks and lice thrive in warm, humid conditions and can spread quickly across herds. TK Blend can be used proactively during high-risk seasons to support natural resistance.
Here’s how to integrate TK Blend into your routine:
• Spray 3–4 times per dose at milking intervals (entry, cup on, cup off)
• Add 1–2 capfuls to water troughs for herd-wide support
• Use in teat spray mixes for added exposure
• Monitor cows regularly for signs of infestation

Why Choose TK Blend?

• Developed by Agripathics, specialists in animal homeopathy
• Designed for practical farm use—tamper-proof lids and durable bottles
• Trusted by NZ farmers for ticks on cows and cow cattle lice support

Keep Your Herd Comfortable and Calm
Ticks and lice can disrupt herd health and reduce productivity. TK Blend offers a practical, affordable way to support your cows naturally. Add it to your farm toolkit and help your herd thrive through the tick and lice season.

How to use

All Agripathics remedies are provided in liquid form, as this has proven to be the most practical and effective method of administration across species.

Individual Use:

For optimal absorption, remedies are best applied to a mucus membrane. In dairy cows, this typically means the nose or vulva. During milking, the vulva offers a convenient access point. A suggested approach is to spray 3–4 times per dose, ideally at three intervals: when the cow enters the shed, when cups are put on, and again at cup removal. This spacing allows for a minimum five-minute interval between applications, supporting consistent uptake and response.

For other farm animals, placing the remedy directly into the mouth or via food or water is generally the most effective method.

Group Use:

For herd-wide support, remedies can be added to the water trough. Adding 1–2 capfuls ensures that each animal receives a dose with every drink, allowing for repeated exposure throughout the day.

Ingredients

Homeopathic Ingredient:

Tick and Lice Nosode, Sulphur 30c

Base Composition:

Formulated in a liquid base of ethanol (10%) and purified water.

About Our Ethanol Base:

This product is preserved using certified organic ethanol derived from cane or wheat sources. The ethanol concentration is maintained at a gentle 10%, supporting product stability while remaining suitable for routine administration.

Ethanol and Dairy Cow Administration:

Each dose contains only a minimal amount of ethanol. Most livestock tolerate this well. It can be easily administered orally, applied to the vulva, or added to feed or water.  For animals with known sensitivity or cautious administration, the following approaches may be used:

  • Dispense the drops into the feed and allow them to stand for 20 minutes before offering.

  • Dilute in a small volume of water and allow to stand for 20 minutes before administration.

Ingredient Philosophy
We select ingredients with a focus on purity, safety, and functional integrity. Our ethanol base reflects this commitment—organic, clean, and carefully balanced to align with the needs of production animals.

Reviews

"This product works really well.  We had ticks on the cows and when we started treatment, noticed a mass reduction in tick within 24 hours.  We started adding it into their water trough but then tried putting it into the teat spray mix, seems to work just as well. Really pleased with the outcome."  Brett
