Spring (Hom) is a natural homeopathic remedy designed to support the immune response of a cat or dog suffering from grass allergies, pollen, wandering jew allergies, and atopic dermatitis.

Allergies to grasses, pollens and wandering jew are becoming more common in pets, especially dogs. This can be from pollens via inhalation through the respiratory tract and as a contact allergy when coming into contact with grasses and wandering jew. This manifests as raw pink, itchy skin, rashes and raised spots like pimples. With a contact allergy, it is very common for the animal to be irritated in the undercarriage – tummy, armpits, groin, paws, and around the ears and mouth.

There will be lots of licking, scratching and biting of these areas. Unfortunately, the trauma this activity creates can lead to secondary skin infections. For many pets, the only answer has been a vet visit and their pet put on steroids to stop the inflammation.

These contact allergies are called atopic dermatitis. The animal will start with a reaction to grass or wandering jew in the spring or summer, but with the response from the body, it can develop into an all-year-round issue, so you can have an animal that is affected all year round. Our Spring (Hom) remedy has been designed to assist your animal with this allergy by supporting its normal immune response to the reaction.

How to use

Spring (Hom) comes in a liquid form; this is the easiest way to administer it to animals. It can be put straight into the mouth of the animal, making sure not to contaminate the dripper. You can do this by adding the drops to a teaspoon, lifting the lip, and place in the mouth. But we realise this is not always an option. So you can add the drops to their food, which is just as effective.

Dosage: 4 drops 3 times daily for up to 5 days.

How long will a 25ml bottle last: (based on 5 days as 1 course)

Cats and dogs: 6.5 courses per bottle

After the 5 days, what happens next?

The recommended dose is 3 times daily for 5 days. So what happens next? Usually, 1 of 3 things will happen, we have listed them below with instructions on what to do next.

After 5 days, the itching will stop, so you can stop the remedy and reuse it when it flares up again.
After 5 days the itching has reduced but not gone completely. Keep using the remedy till the itching has stopped, then you can wean them off it. For example, if you have been using 3 times daily, do 2 times daily for 4 days, then once daily for 4 days, then every second day etc. You can stop the remedy at any time.
If there has been no relief from the remedy at all, then it is not the grasses and pollens that your pet is allergic to, so you need to look at other causes. We can help you with that.

Ethanol and your furry friend's well-being

Each dose contains only 0.4 of a drop of ethanol, and most dogs and cats tolerate it without issue. However, if your pet shows sensitivity, you can:

Add the drops to food or a treat and let sit for 20 minutes before offering
Mix with a small amount of water and allow to stand for 20 minutes before dosing

For dogs and cats with heightened sensitivity, we recommend starting with diluted dosing and observing for comfort and acceptance.

Its Really Works!

I have a 3 year old American Staffy Terrier and this is the first year his skin allergies had flared up. He has a white belly and white inner legs. He was quite red and splotchy in these areas and was starting to get patches of missing fur on his inner legs. I am so thankful to have found this product!
